WE WANT YOU

The women of Kappa Kappa Gamma participate in Panhellenic's formal fall recruitment each year.

Background:

Recruitment week is held the week before classes start in August. Each day of the week has its own concentration. For example, on Wednesday, participants will get to view various skits performed by each house. After the first six days the participants preference up to three houses they feel they fit in best with. Sunday, also known as "Bid Day", is held on the quad. This is where the participants are informed on which house has offered them a "bid" to be a member of their sorority. The participants walk back to the sorority house where the active members are waiting to congratulate them!

Requirements:

Kappa Kappa Gamma requires a potential member to have attained at least a "B+" average from high school or a "B-" for the previously completed term as a full-time university student. A chapter's standing rule for Academics and Membership Selection can be higher than the Fraternity Bylaw for academic requirements.
